12/25/2023 0 Comments Zytel mags fit mac 10 9mmEngineered to meet or exceed factory standards for perfect fit and function in M11 pistols, these ProMag magazines are a perfect upgrade for your aging. Who knows, after you make this work and post it, others might want one too. Cobray’s M11 is a popular variant of the Mac-10/Mac-11 automatic pistol, an iconic firearm and one of the few fully automatic weapons available in substantial numbers on the market today. Just need to figure out the right angle and depth for the mag. If you already have a stack of M11/9 mags that work, why not use those? If you have machining capabilities and knowledge, I would try to design my own mag block insert. They are about half the weight of our Steel magazines and function similar depending upon each weapons tolerances. They work well with the M-11 SMG and Semi Auto guns and are designed for the M-11 9mm. I totally understand your situation, though. Pro Magazine Zytel type polymer 9mm magazine. When I built my 9mm AR a long time ago, I just got the CMMG upper, a mag block, and stocked up on Metalform mags from CDNN. M11/9 mags, on the other hand, are either cheap Zytel mags that are pretty shitty and wear out quickly, or metal and kinda expensive. Metalform mags not quite so, but they are solid quality. Glock and Uzi mags are cheap and ubiquitous. Just wondering if there would be really a market for it. The most common configs are either mag block inserts that take Colt/Metalform or Uzi mags (modified or not, depending on the mag block) or lowers that natively take Glock or Colt/Metalform mags. I'm not familiar with AR lowers or mag block inserts for M11/9 mags.
